*BMA members and friends are invited to two no-cost seminars (Designing for Digital or Life with Print) on August 12, during Henry Wurst’s second annual Open House. Registration is at 3:30 pm, seminars from 4-5 pm, and an open house with food, beverage, networking and entertainment at 6 pm. Register online.
*The 1stMovement (Corey Hayes, Ann Van Orsdel), announced numerous honors. Ann was nominated for the Colorado Software & Internet Association’s Apex Awards Technology Entrepreneur of the Year. In addition, Ann was promoted from EVP of Client Services to President. Their LA office was recently named by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the 2010 Best Places to Work. The 1stMovement in Colorado went from #24 to #14 in the Top Advertising Agency in Denver by the Denver Business Journal, as well as #22 within Denver’s Top Minority Owned Businesses.
*Josh Levy, CBC, of Kinsley, has announced that the National Biodiesel Board (NBB), the trade association of the biodiesel industry, has extended its partnership with Kinsley. Kinsley will continue to manager NBB’s Biodiesel Conference & Expo through 2013.
*Colorado Biz Magazine recently published their Top 50 Minority Business List, and two BMA members were represented: Amadeus Consulting (Monica Valdez) and Syntes Language Group (Beatriz Bonnet).
*Cohn Marketing (Jeff Cohn, Cindy Jennings) was recently retained by L.M. Zuckerman & Co. for brand development, brand expression and website-redesign services.
